Sri Lanka vs India 2021 - ODI & T20I Preview

Team India is preparing for the upcoming fixtures against Sri Lanka in a warm and sunny Colombo. Starting on July 18, team India will face Sri Lanka in three ODI’s and three T20I’s. All matches will be shown live on Sony Sports Network’s channels and live stream. It will be a much-changed squad taking on Sri Lanka compared to the one that was facing New Zeeland a month ago. Several key players are still in England and will not be available for the upcoming tour in Colombo. However, team India have a great chance of getting a good result from the upcoming fixtures and we believe captain Shikhar Dhawan will be able to lead this young and talented side to further success.

India will be going into the ODI’s and T20I’s with a second-string team and one can think that this will be a great opportunity for Sri Lanka to pick up some good results after the disappointment against England. However, the Sri Lankan side has found themselves in trouble as well as the national board recently announced a new salary system which has caused an upstir among the professional players. Several veteran players have refused to sign the new contract and are major doubt ahead of the upcoming series against India. Listening to fans and experts prior to the series the majority believes that India walks into the upcoming fixtures as favorites.
