Mohamed Salah scored in his ninth consecutive game when Liverpool beat Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night. Next up is Manchester United at Old Trafford and for anyone following the English Premier League, this is a must-watch game. Can a shaky Manchester United side stop the Egyptian goal scoring machine, or will Liverpool continue their perfect start of the season? BETTING TIPS:

Liverpool have been firing on all cylinders in the beginning of the season and showed great character earlier this week when they picked up all 3 points at Metro Wanda Metropolitano. Manchester United have on several occassions this season got their poor performances papered over by individual brillance. With Mohamed Salah as good as never before and Liverpool still unbeaten, we think this is going to end with an away victory.

Hard-fought win against Atletico Madrid

Liverpool’s game against Atletico Madrid was a game with two faces. Jürgen Klopp’s side were in complete control of the game after two early goals. However, Atletico Madrid who hadn’t lost at home in a European game for four years came back with through two goals signed Antionne Griezmann. An early red card on the Frenchman in the second half made life hard for Atletico though and when Diego Jota was rewarded with a penalty later on, it was only for Salah to put the ball in net and seal the victory for Liverpool.

Where do we have this Manchester United side?

Another poor performance was once again saved by individual brilliance as Manchester United turned 0-2 into 3-2 after a last minute winning goal by Cristiano Ronaldo. Manchester United have been far from their best this season but somehow continue to get the three points. The performance has to be better when Liverpool visit Old Trafford on Sunday, but we're still doubtful the defensive line with Maguire/Lindelöf has enough qualities to stop Liverpool's frontfrio.

Preview

The two biggest clubs in England face off on Sunday night and we all believe that this will be something special. Manchester United haven’t had a great start of the season but know that this could be the perfect game to turn things around. The atmosphere will be rousing and with two of the world’s best players on the pitch, Mohamed Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo, there will be goals.

We feel that Liverpool is a team in harmony at the moment with the results going their way even when the performances are short. They haven’t lost against their biggest rivals since 2018 in the Premier League which shows the current balance between the two sides.
Manchester United have got their wins this season but their performances have been far from superb. Leicester managed to exploit their defensive weaknesses last weekend, and no one can think that it will be easier going up against Salah, Mane and Firmino.

Prel line-ups
Manchester United: De Gea; Shaw, Maguire, Lindelöf, Wan-Bissaka; Pogba, Fred; Rashford, Fernandes, Greenwood; Ronaldo

Liverpool: Alison; Robertson, Van Dijk, Matip, Alexander-Arnold; Jones, Fabinho, Henderson; Mane, Firmino, Salah

The away win, 2.25, is our pick for this game where we think Liverpool will come strengthen by the win against Atletico Madrid. Manchester United have one day less to rest ahead of Sunday’s game as they play Atalanta on Wednesday night.
