7th January – Australia vs India 3rd Test

Australia won the first test game while India proved to be the stronger team in the second. The third test game of this tour will be an interesting one where it’s still all to play for. If India manages to win this test game series it would be a huge performance against one of the toughest opponents. India have had trouble before when playing away from home but going into the final two test games with a strong result from the previous T20 series the outcome is tough one to predict.

11th January – ATK Mohun Bagan vs Mumbai City FC

January’s top game from the Indian Super League is the one between ATK Mohun Bagan and Mumbai City FC. These are the two best performing teams of the season so far and it’s going to be a game worth waiting for. Mumbai City FC, who have never won the Indian Super League, are looking like real contenders for the trophy this year. Adam Le Fondre, the former Premier League player, has hit it from the start and will be crucial for his team as he seems to continue on the goal scoring streak he had in Sydney FC.

For ATK Mohun Bagan this is the first season since the merger of Mohun Bagan and ATK. ATK is the current champions of the ISL and is looking just as strong, if not stronger, when they have now come together with the former I-League team Mohun Bagan.
