Barcelona vs Juventus – 9th Dec, 02:00am IST

Messi vs Ronaldo in what could be the last meeting between two of the world’s best footballers ever. It has gone two and half years since last time Messi and Ronaldo faced each other on the pitch. Now they do it again, representing two teams searching for consistency, at Camp Nou in Barcelona. Barcelona are top of the group and won by 2-0 last time out against Juventus.

Juventus are forced to win the game in order to claim the first place. Andrea Pirlo has got a tough start on his manager career and even though Juventus haven’t lost since last time they faced Barcelona in October they’re still not picking up enough convincing victories to satisfy their fans.

Even though they’re struggling at the moment, Barcelona is a hard opposition to beat at Camp Nou, especially with Lionel Messi in the line-up. Barcelona are favourites to win this game, but have to be alert on the offensive qualities in the away side.

RB Leipzig vs Manchester United – 9th Dec, 02:00am IST

Time for the final and decisive game in group H between RB Leipzig and Manchester United where both teams stand on nine points as they enter the pitch. Last time the two sides faced each other Manchester United managed to pull of an impressive performance and won by 5-0. Edinson Cavani, who’s scored three goals in his last four league games, will be a doubt for the encounter with RB Leipzig due to a light injury.

RB Leipzig have won all of their home games this season and manager Julian Nagelsmann has a great variety of offensive weapons to throw out. Against Manchester United with a shaky defence this should be an interesting meeting where the home team is held as small favourites.

Real Madrid vs Borussia Monchengladbach – 10th Dec, 02:00am IST

If there’s one group to keep an extra eye on this week, it’s definitely group B. Real Madrid, Inter, Borussia Monchengladbach and Shakhtar Donetsk are all in the contention of reaching the top two spots as we go into the final round. Surprisingly it’s Borussia Monchengladbach and Shakhtar Donetsk who’re currently in possession of the top positions.

This will be an open game where Real Madrid knows that they’ll have to win in order to advance to the final stages. Borussia Monchengladbach is a great team on the counter and will be comfortable with letting Real Madrid having the ball. With Thuram and Plea in the front line the Germans will be confident in their chances of progressing past group stage. For Real Madrid it will be a warm welcome for Sergio Ramos who’s expected to start in this game after some time on the side-line. Additionally, Karim Benzema will continue leading the offensive forces for Real Madrid as they hope to claim one of the two top spots in the group.
